This is the home of the crescent island,  Hells gates national park, Mt Longonot,  Ol Karia ,  Lake Naivasha , The crater lake,  Lake Elementaita,  Lake Oloiden and Lake Sonachi. The waters of the lakes draw a great range of game; Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo population sleep the day out in the shallows.

Hells gate national park is named for the intense geothermal activity. It has spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam. In addition to the bio-diversity, visitors can enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing and a natural spa.
